Author: On Monday February,16 2026 Miami Dolphins released star wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Dolphins on this huge news got 22.3 million dollars in salary cap space on the departure of Tyreek Hill.
On the side of this crazy release the Dolphins, in my opinion, got the better end of the bargain.
Reserving 22.3 million dollars saved on having to pay him 22.3 million more dollars then they should have. To lead them to having a better shot at having a quarterback now, like if Daniel Jones drops out of the Colts, or maybe get in involved in a trade for a quarterback like Justin Fields, Kyler Murry and Russell Wilson. Now on Tyreek’s part, he is in the late stages of his career, he has not had 1,000 receiving yards for the past two seasons. This year before he got injured, he had 21 reception 265 yards and 1 touchdown with an average of 12.6 yard per catch. Teams like the Raiders, Jets, Bills and Titians to me feel like ideal options for him to go to after the Dolphins released him.
